I have been a long time customer of Doug and am very sad to read of his passing. He was a great mechanic and a great friend. Things have never been the same since he sold his shop. I saw him last year at Home Depot and we a long talk. It was so good to talk to him. It was disturbing to hear about his continuing health problems. May he now rest in peace and I hope all the cars in heaven are BMWs.

I had been a customer of Doug's since 1990. Every time I went into his shop we would chat and find something to laugh about! I could always count on him. I was so upset when I heard he was having health problems. I spoke with him after he sold his shop to see how things were. He was an incredible person and I hope he can now rest in peace pain-free.

I was a friend of Doug's while he worked/volunteered at the American Red Cross, while I worked there. Of all the people I knew there, he was one of the most sincere and caring and personal people I have ever met. I was so sad to hear of his passing, but know that he will be greatly missed.
