Fred Bryan Eby Jr. 46, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 20th 2010, surrounded by his family after a 2 year battle with brain cancer. He was the son of Fred Bryan Eby Sr. and Shirley Mae Martin. He graduated from Cottonwood High School in 1982. He married Suzanne Moulton, later divorced. Fred had 3 beautiful daughters that he adored. He married his true love Valerie Ann Kauilani LinTai in 1989.
Fred always loved cars and he was fortunate enough to have a career that was dedicated to his passion, body painting and restoring classic cars. In his spare time he loved to race cars and received awards for his classic “burnouts”. He was such a wonderful and special man he could always put a smile on your face. It wasn’t until he became a Papa that he found another passion in life. He has 4 grandchildren, Madisyn & Jayden Done, Devin Carpenter & Bryan Dale Eby who will carry on the Eby name. Survived by 3 daughters LeAnne (Justin), Alicia (Cody), Chantee (Nate); niece Nikki (Jamey), and his sister who he cherished, Ann Sandwick; also Bettijean Smith, Patty Gourdin, Chris Otto, Liz Helsley, Bill Helsley and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his true love Valerie Kauilani LinTai, his sisters Erma Christiansen, Dorothy Allen, Avis Marsh and his Mom & Dad. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 27th , 1 pm at the Garner Funeral Home, 1001 11th Ave. Salt Lake City.
